This conversion of a former Conservative Club has transformed the building into a vibrant and inviting pub. A modern extension of glass and steel extends to the rear, and large summer doors open onto the garden terrace. Outside, beach hut booths nod towards the pub's location near the coast. The scheme brings together a number of traditional pub tavern features, and there is a feel that elements within the pub have been collected over time. A bespoke handmade fireplace sits alongside exposed bricks, timbers and reclaimed paints, whilst an open cellar allows customers to see the stillage racks. The incorporation of a changing places WC into the design ensures that all patrons can enjoy the experience of the Lifeboat.
